"All matching" doesn't mean "all original"

I got a 1910, unit marked to 1st Uhlans. I've owned it 45 years.
The hold open is replaced.
It's a mismatch as far as I'm concerned. Original and matching same - same for my era.
Armourer replacement is just that-replacement.
I would not devalue it a lot for such a small thing, but I would point it out to a buyer.
