The sear bar is blued. The disconnector (little plunger on the end) is in the white.

Default Strawed shooter

I decided to give my .30 cal shooter a straw job, everthing was blued. I used the white vinegar which worked well on all but the safety. I used a propane torch under flourescent light. I think the lighting is a big aid in getting the color. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. We'll see how the pic looks! Bill
