Pete, Parts smuggled out of a plant and and later assembled by god-knows who, are generally refered to as "lunch box specials" and usually don't have test fire proofing and/or factory applied serial numbers. Although, these features will also apply to many of the pistols, that the GIs had factory workers assemble for them at the end of WW2. Tom h.
