Most commercials made by Mauser in the 30's had mags with aluminum bottoms. If a commercial made in the 20's (DWM) was sent back to the factory in the 30's, it would be a different factory (Mauser). I've learned when it comes to Lugers it seems there are always exceptions to the rules, but the rule is 20DWM's and Alphabet DWM commercials (all made in the 20's) originally had mags with tin or nickel plated tubes with wood bottoms.
