Hi John,
The P.38 is a much maligned pistol :-( I can tell you, from my personal experience, that hitting a soda can at 100 yards with a P.38 is no great feat. Time after time, after time The problem with hitting anything with a P.38 (or a Luger!) is the age of our eyes. Twenty years ago dusting a tin can at 100 yards with either a P.38 or a Luger was easy. Now my eyes are older, and I just put the black blur that is the rear sight on the black blur that is the front sight on top of where I want the bullet to go and hope for the best as I squeeze the round off. IOW, the problem is not in our stars (or our pistols), but in ourselves :-( Best regards, Kyrie |
