Hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like your frame has the "Mauser hump" (extra metal 'ears' around the top/rear of the frame--designed to help keep the toggle pin in). So it has a modern frame and cannon, better metal than the Imperial lugers.

Should stand up to a lot of shooting, but most experts recommend brass cased ammo. Some say that steel cased ammo causes more severe frame battering than brass cased.
