If we are to believe that the serial numbers we see on the trommel magazines are a true representation of the actual number produced, where did they all go? According to known serial numbers on the magazines, there should be almost 4 magazines to every LP08. While the magazines are not rare, they are scarce and are not seen with anything like the frequency of the LP08's. While all were not used with the LP08, this should have nothing to do with their scarcity.
