Default The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Got the P38 grips in the mail today...

Good news is that they will allow you to save/store your good OEM Bakelite grips away where they won't get damaged...

Bad news...woo...where to start...

They need a lot of fitting...the epoxy squeezed out the fill & vent holes (of the mold) and was not cleaned up/ground away properly...there are quite a few strange lines cast into the outer surface...from the parting agent maybe???...several boogers on the inside edges...

Worst part - no grommets...and I don't feel like taking apart my old grips to get a set...

But for the $$$, they're OK...I can make them work...just wrap some duct tape around them to hold them on...

I may try ordering a set from the other place mentioned above...They sell grommets...

Oh, yeah - The Ugly...that would be the inner surfaces...
