![]() Snider, The cdg 4 is a relatively late holster and as such is scarce if not rare. As far as I know this date is for 1944. Your shoe guy did an above average repair on the strap. I see shoe repairmen butcher holsters usually. Stick them under a fast sewing machine and punch a million new holes using tiney synthetic thread. You got lucky. I take it you glued on the lifting strap knot? Nice holster... Jerry Burney
