The numbers look clear, proper & legit. The bluing doesn't show signs of being re-done. The big problem is no strawing on any of the right parts that can be seen. However, I purchased an old one a while back and strawing couldn't be seen until 70 or 80 years of oxidation & grime was removed. I can see the take down pin (on the right hand side) on the subject gun and it looks as blue as anything.
It would be nice to know for sure about an all blue 1936 Mauser. Any other opinions??? thanx Jack |
