1944 dated Luger holsters are extreamly rare, if they actually exist. Krieghoff made Lugers for the Luftwaffe into 1945 and there must have been holster provided for them. It is not uncommon to find "bring back" P-08 pistols in P-38 holsters or P-38s in P-08 holsters. Yours is a P-38 holster. Joe

Many thanks for your response. As mentioned, I believe a p38 was carried in this holster, however I believe it is a Luger holster that was made very late war. Not sure why you would refer to it as a p38 holster, please explain! Regards, George |
