Obviously, she's not licensed, and owning guns is not a right in Massachusetts, owner must be licensed. Local specialized lawyer should know how to play this. One way I can think of .... transferring the guns to a licensed friend that she can trust, and transferring back after she got the licenses. (I'm not a lawyer).
