For Mike C. Yes the pistol is the same size as the other Stoeger 22's I have. The longer barrel gives it the impression that the entire pistol is larger. Additionally, this one has an attachement of some type on the rear of the pistol for the rear sight. I have no knowledge of what this is but since it came with the pistol, and is part of the sighting, I plan to leave it.
In checking the Stoeger 22 cal's for sale I have not seen the 5 1/2" barrel being mentioned. Are they this uncommon?
Thanks for all the answers I received. This site is great and has the best people on it. I feel comfortable asking any "dum" question and getting a correct answer.
By the way, I have not shot the 5 1/2" yet, but the 4 1/2" I have shoots great.
Thanks again everyone.
