Wellllll..... doesn't take American ingenuity to figure out something like that... thought of it myself long time ago.
As a matter of fact... my wife did have a permit herself a few years ago.

But the problem is; when you have a permit you have to join a club (no real problem) you have to show up there at least 18 times per year AND whenever you let someone shoot your guns you have to be present there at the range.
Not gonna work.....
