Great-looking bone grip, Ed. Looks like a Wild-West Luger.
I know a shooter is supposed to be non-matching and/or re-finished gun in the neighborhood of $500. Still I can't resist shooting any of my three $1000+ relics even thoug I know I could easilly turn it into a $500 shooter by breaking the extractor. Then I look to see that a new full-size Springfield 1911A1 typically runs well over $1000 and I wonder..... BTW The Navy-style shooter I hope to find is way off in the future now; my wife informs me that property taxes are coming due with their one-two punch. Russell
