what parts were numbered on third reich guns

What is the skinny on grips. I have a g date, 39 and 41 byf. none have the serial number on the grips. the 39 I cant find anything, the g date has no markings, and the 41 has only eagle over 655. is this acceptable, also my gdate is all matching but the hold open lever. the gun is in 95% condition and is very pleasing. how bad does the hold open lever being a different number on a gdate hurt it? thanks
