Could someone more schooled then I on Persian Lugers please take a look at the new listed one on Simpsons and give me their opinions....mag is a plain alum base without markings, gun is total matched, silvered out front and back grip straps as you can not see them in pictures, nice bore....is it worth the cost???thanks

Howard,
Is this the one? I'm not expert on any Lugers but the price doesn't seem too bad to me especially for Simpson's.

That is one of the more reasonably priced scarce Lugers that Simpson's has had for a while. I am not surprised that it was snapped up right away. If I had a spare 2 grand in my jeans, I would have bought it. Glad you got it Howard. Should you ever decide to part with it....

Yeah, I know. But I also have this thing for contract Lugers. Just one of my many character flaws.

Just a note to the young guys.

I've found that in over 30 years of married bliss.

Its much easer to get forgiveness
Than permission!

Almost my entire gun collection was made on the bended knee of forgiveness.
