Howard,
Is this the one? I'm not expert on any Lugers but the price doesn't seem too bad to me especially for Simpson's. Tom http://www.simpsonltd.com/product_in...oducts_id=4830 |
Tom,
Yes that is the one, while it does not fit into my Wiemar police Luger collection, it saw service in Iran when my mother was a young girl there...jusat always wanted one..... |
Too late boys, I tried to buy the Persian this morning and it had been sold. I thought it was a fair value for its rairty. David

David....I was not up front and I did not mean to do so, I bought it this AM right at 10:00 when the office opened, I was looking for some assurance I did not screw up to bad....now in my best Clinton impersonation, I got to go up stairs and tell my wife about it....on the other hand my wifes birthday is Sunday, naw it won't work.....
|
That is one of the more reasonably priced scarce Lugers that Simpson's has had for a while. I am not surprised that it was snapped up right away. If I had a spare 2 grand in my jeans, I would have bought it. Glad you got it Howard. Should you ever decide to part with it....:)
|
I will leave a small note with it should sometime happen that you get first shot....thanks......but you know it was made after 1918, much later...
|
Yeah, I know. But I also have this thing for contract Lugers. Just one of my many character flaws.
|
Hey, I like it too and it should "stay" with police lugers! :D

I think "shot" was the key word....you think she would be use by now.....OK Ed...you and Ron can work it out,
|
Just a note to the young guys.
I've found that in over 30 years of married bliss. Its much easer to get forgiveness Than permission! |
Almost my entire gun collection was made on the bended knee of forgiveness. :)
