Hello all
![]() After months of trawling through this very active forum in general, it is time to get stuck in. I have just got hold of beeeooootiful dwm commercial to add to my collection. Note my collection is not of Lugers, but more of a collection focusing on the different mechanical systems for small arms, gotta admit, Lugers are up their with the weird and wild. Anyway, I was not looking for the cream of the crop all matching numbers etc, just a good sound example that I could take to the range with a clear conscience but found the 6" barrel configuration was my personal favourite in terms of aesthetics, but I don't have the means to invest in a Navy. In I go to my local gunstore to stock up on black powder (other hobby ![]() ![]() Number is 1013l with visible numbers, visible N under crown proof on receiver and rear toggle link horizontal with crown pointing towards barrel, extractor clearly marked GELADEN, chambered for 9mm Para, standard rear toggle sight, barrel is a modern un-numbered replacement, but very well done, I also suspect that it has been reblued, oddly, the breechblock is the only part with a different number (not counting barrel). Will post piccies soon! There is also a strange symbol on the left side of the front toggle link, it is not very well struck but I will try to get a good photo of it. |
