Default The Allen Company Pistol Pouches

At the moment, I live in an apartment and I cannot keep my collection at home as a result of inadequate security and storage measures and, therefore, I keep all my pieces in a safe deposit box. Yes, it is painful not to pamper by pistols, but I have no other choice.

The method I have use to protect my items in a safe deposit box is to properly wipe the the metal with RIG grease using a RIG rag and place the pistol in a pistol pouch made by The Allen Company which is lined with padded wool similar to a RIG Rag - I never had any rust or humidity problems and I have had pistols stored for over 10 years.

I strongly advise against placing the the pistol in a plastic ziplock bag or wrapping the pistol in plastic because it gives no protection against hits and bumps by other pistols in the safe deposit box.

I hope that my adivise is helpful for the protection and preservation of your rare pistols.
