Swiss Holster
Ran accross a very nice what appears to be Swiss holster yesterday at local antique show. Probably a 1929 version.Tan leather with shoulder strap, magazine pouch in front, overall condition very good to excellent with only light scuffing on the flap. Marked "+" over "RK" and a maker name I don't recall, but the town was "Matzingen". Asking price was $125. Can any one tell me if this price is fair?

Hello Hans,
I am traveling so cannot access my luger/holster library at the moment. If you look in the "Swiss Luger" section, you will see a posting with my M1929 Bern luger rig. That holster is dated 1942 and in its condition cost me $ 140.00. Is the holster you are considering anything like mine ? I see good conditioned Swiss holster in the $ 100-250 price range. M1929 holster being less expensive than M1906 or M1900 holsters. Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

Thanks for the reply Pete,
Yes it's identical to the one you show. Condition wise it has only slightly more wear. Hans |
