Post Death's head holster, interesting

Here is a death's head holster you all might find interesting. Anyone have an opinion? Jerry Burney

Bulgarian configuration; the totenkopf add-on is highly suspect. *Might* possibly be from a Bulgarian Fascist paramilitary group, if real; however, I'd be real careful about this one.

My first impression was Bulgarian also. I saw that DH stamp on a Luger holster over 20 years ago and have since seen photos of other Luger holsters with the same mark. They have the same misgivings as the DH Lugers...there have been a few examples observed and some are authentic, but there are also fakes, which makes it difficult to accept any Luger or holster with the DH mark as being genuine. It is a shame that profit seeking scoundrels have made what could be an interesting item the object of doubt.

Gut feel...it is a Bulgarian made holster that may be genuine and probably, as Tom noted, from a paramilitary or "Freikorps" unit that could be German or Bulgarian.

Hi to all! As for the DH holster, there's right, then there's rare, and then... there's just plain ugly! if I had a dog that ugly, I'd shave his butt and walk him backwards!! Hummm, come to think of it, Panzer just might be that ugly?? But he's already got short hair?? Oh well, doesn't matter! He's part of the family anyway! til...later...GT
