Post Any Canadian collectors here?

I originally posted this in the P-08 military section, but as I am new this may actually be a better place for a response:

I'd like to purchase a restricted Luger (Arty, Navy or re-barrelled shooter) sometime later this summer. Can any Canadian collector point me in the right direction?

thanks very much

Hello Scott,

A Forum member, Peter Dunster, lives in Canada, deals in lugers, and might be able to help you.

His email is : lugercollector@hotmail.com

p.s. He even has a few lugers for sale in our "WTS" section and usually on Gunbroker, as well...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Nope, from Calgary! We are visiting family tomorrow in White Rock though. I love Victoria, what a gorgeous city! You should be able to find a Luger or two there with the amount of vets that have retired in the Island. Take care,
Joe

I would even go for a dewat luger (if I could find one) I love Victoria too but we are not as open minded as our Albertan friends!

Mark, it's great to meet you as well. I would love to meet another luger lover. I am into german ww2 militaria as well. I made a purchase of a guy on ebay from Vancouver, (cloth, 2 daggers etc) He said it was too bad that I hadn't talked to him earlier as he had sold hist ww1 arty luger for a couple of bucks to a guy in the interior of B.C. I will buy a couple of books on lugers and learn more. Good to meet you fellas!!

Wow I was looking at courses you need to take just to be able to purchase a restricted weapon, I guess it will be awhile before I'm able to go to a range. I'd love a dewat to fiddle around with in the meantime.
