Post Luger ID Help

I came across a Luger that I don't know what it is and I'm looking for some help on. What makes it hard is that it's mismatched. The frame has no stock lug,has a grip safety.has no markings for the thumb safety, has a holdopen latch, the ser.# is 37963, no other markings on the frame. The barrel and toggle assembly are from another gun. The receiver I think is correct but not possitive and has no markings at all. Any help on this would be appreciated

Sounds like a mismatched 1906 commercial model. What is the caliber and length of the barrel, and are there any proof marks on the barrel or receiver? Is there a serial number on the barrel?

Hey Ron. I tried to call you today but I guess the # is an old one, I got a desconect message. Anyway The barrel is 9mm but I don't have it with me now. Out of all my books the 1906 commercial seems right to me too. I will get some more info. and post it later. Thanks Don By the way Ron are you coming to the show here in Albuquerque tomorrow?

I didn't know there was a show tomorrow. Don't know if I can make it at this late date. Check your private messages for a new phone number.
