That guy is either on drugs or worked for Weatherby.

Some of those things look like sick jokes and are a waste of a good Luger.

We could only hope the starter lugers were beyond shooter quality and this craftsman breathed some new life into old, useless guns.

Sort of look like Rambo-lugers, to me...

I agree with Rick, I have shooter Lugers and collector Lugers and I feel the shooter Luger is a lot more fun (and accurate) with some type of devise (scope) to improve the sights.

Sorry for my outburst. I guess that I'm old fashioned. I don't doubt that fellow does excellent work, but seeing such a mess of parts rather degraded the venerable old Luger in my eyes, and offended me.

It's my problem I guess, but I personally prefer the classic look and modern look to stay separate.

Perhaps we'll see Darth Vader holding one of those contraptions in the next Star Wars movie?

I've got the same problem. I do not like plastic futuristic (aka modern) guns. I've got a pre ban Colt AR SP2 that I have a lot of money in with 30 rd magazines, Colt scope, cheek pad, carry case, ect, and it rarely leaves the rack. Excellent gun, very accurate, I just don't like to shoot it. I'll take down an old WWII era bolt action every time and go plinking, or take an 03 or M-1 deer or coyote hunting.

I am allergic to the printed word, so I avoided the text that this fellow slapped on his English page. I agree with the above statements that there were a bunch of good Luger parts wasted. If a machinist thinks that he is such a prima-donna, why does he not totally manufacture the pistol? It is not that difficult to produce a proven system whenever no research and development is required.
