Unhappy Made a Mistake today.

hello Everyone, Just want to share a moment of my day with everyone. This morning, I was bidding on some items on eBay. I had been outbid on a few items at the last minute by snipers, and noticed on one item that one person was bidding against me quite often (total coincidence) but I let my anger get the best of me. I emailed the person without knowing who they were and was slightly rude, not to mention stupid) I still lost the auction and later calmed down and forgot about my uncalled-for outburst. Well about an hour ago I was checking my emails and- you guessed it, I had a reply from the other bidder! Well, I must say I was embarassed to find out that the bidder was someone who I greaty admire and respect here on the forum, someone who had defended my position and some of my opinions. Now not only was I embarassed, but greatly saddened to learn that I had made a fool of myself in front of someone I looked up to. I tried to write him a heartfelt letter of apology, but considering my people skills, I dont know how it really turned out sounding. So, I came here to publicly say "I am Sorry" to John Sabato." I hope I can earn back your respect, no matter how long it takes."

I have had my share of anger. For e-mail use, I try to write my "nasty" note and then never send it...

Hello Adam,

Sometimes we let our emotions get the best of us. I have a policy, I never contact a fellow bidder on Ebay. I contact sellers to ask questions but I feel like it is none of by business what another bidder is doing. I either bid on the item or let it go. I have learned one thing on Ebay, you will probably get another opportunity at the same item if you look long enough. The other thing I have learned is I can't buy everything I see!
