Michelle, May I offer you good luck on your auction, but you may not be aware, that eBay prohibits the sale of "High-capacity" magazines (defined as holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition) even if they are antiques.

If they discover that you are selling a TM-08 or Trommelmagazine (snail drum) that is functional, they will pull your auction... and may suspend your selling privileges... Sometimes, they don't catch it in time and the auction happens before they can stop it... I hope that happens in your case. I think the reason that they haven't caught it already is that you didn't use the term "magazine" in your auction title... so it didn't set off a red flag for the eBay auction "police"... that enforce their stupid rules.

If If your auction gets cancelled, you can always put a price on your snail drum magazine and sell it here on the lugerforum in the FOR SALE forum.

I am not well versed in the U.S. Law about importing a high capacity magazine into the United States... perhaps one of our other members can comment of the legal issues that would be faced by a member that wants to buy and import this magazine.

I personally can't afford your snail drum, but I sure wish it were mine. It appears to be in wonderful condition.

Would you mind taking a several digital photographs from a variety of angles and sending them to me with your permission to post the photos in a Member Gallery Album for Luger students to admire?

You can send your photos to lugerforum@yahoo.com

Thanks in advance.
