just check out the site stats by clicking on the blue hit counter on the left... we are being accessed by more domains than that! To date we are being visited by at least 46 domains, which represents an enormous cross section of this entire planet...
Parochial?... I don't think so! Dok |

By clicking on the counter - you can see some stats for hits on the main page - which is terrific.. In addition - here are some more "eye openers" on this Board Page specifically...
- In an average day - this board takes in an average of 346 sessions from visitors. In other words - when you open this discussion Board - that is "one session"... - The average session length is 26 minutes (that is A HUGE LENGTH OF TIME! as most web site session lengths are less then 2 minutes). Occasional "surfers" stay on a site for less the 17 seconds, so apparently we do not have many of those "surfers".. - Pages rendered in 24 hours are - are you ready?? A WHOPPING 15,982 PAGES FROM JUST THIS BOARD (NOT including the gallery, classifieds, Owners Corner, etc.)... So - if you log on - one page is delivered. Read a message in a thread is another page delivered, read the next messsage is another page delivered, etc.. A quick computation say that about 46 pages are delivered per user session... So - if there are only 30 of us here - we apparently have have NO LIFE, as each of us WOULD HAVE TO open 532 posts per day per session..!!!! BTW: All that is registered on the "Hit Counter" during all these Board Page hits is to add an increment of "1" new hit - as that Hit Counter is uneffected by a browser session on this Board... Just an FYI.... John D. |

Even if there *WERE* only 30 folks on this Board (even though there are many more), I really wouldn't care...
The point is - that number of people really doesn't matter. What DOES matter are both the quality of the friendship and the community that has been established by virtue of this Board... From the US, Bermuda, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Canada... and other places which have yet to be identified - we congregate here daily and share our thoughts, encourgement, knowledge and (sometimes warped) sense of humor.. My thanks to all of you for that... |

I quite liked the idea of membership in an exclusive, international group. And now you tell me that we´re a mass working class movement. I shall have to let Sturgess in Cambridge know about this. He is sure to sell his priceless Luger collection and move on to something else (gold plated bathroom fixtures maybe). Patrick
