I was going through a couple of pistols and came up with this G date that has an Eagle 211 proofmark on the right side of the receiver aside the regular S 92. It is at the position where the B 90 proofmark is usually found.
Anyone to shed some light on this Thanks kidvett |

Hi Marc, Still says that the acceptance marks (B90, S91, S92, W154, DE/211 and DE/63) going from early to late could occur in varying combinations. For instance, I have seen B90 & S91, W154 & S92,DE/211 & S92, DE/63 & DE/63.
I would imagine there are more combinations. I think they would be fairly close together. In other words, I wouldn't expect to see a B90 with a DE/63, but who knows. Happy New Year! <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" /> |

Hi,
As Frank mentioned, there are 6 combination of proof marks found on G-dates. In order from early to late here they are: B90/S91 --- B90/S92 --- W154/S92 --- 211/S/92 --- 63/S92 --- and 63/63 |
