Back in the 1990's a bunch of Lugers were imported, I think from Finland? Maybe Norway, never the less, one of those northern countrys? The all were fitted with the new plastic (NOT Bakelite!) black plastic grips like you have pictured above. They also were all sporting 5" new 9mm barrels with an angular front sight, probably to comply with some obscure import reg. The grips will react to certain solvents, and all were, at one time or the other, fitted to a DWM 1923 frame? So, probably not the best on a Mauser frame.
John V. Martz used a ton of these imports and I was the recipient of a bunch of barrels abd a bunch of grips! John was better to me than my own family.. Tha was 30 years ago... best to all, til....lat'r...GT
