Hi, as my title states I have a 1913 DWM luger with serial #20X a and I'm clueless. I bought it from a widow who's husband purchased it at an auction in 1953 in South Africa. It appears to have the original blueing (approximately 90% with a little blemish or two, and is peppered with what I believe are British proof marks. (It is all matching). I will post a picture as soon as I can
Can anyone tell me anything about it. Is it collectable due to the low serial number, anything re: it's history, or what it's value might be , etc. Or am I asking too much since I have no picture yet. Many thanks |

It sounds like you have a very interesting Luger but without more details - pictures would be very helpful - it's impossible to do more than broadly speculate about your pistol. Please take many close-ups and post them. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see your Luger.

Hi Tac
I guess I could have been a little claerer with the serial number. It is 203a. It's not 001a material but I would still think the 200 mark might still be of interest. I will be posting pictures and more information shortly. Cheers |
