P08 Holster Marking - need info
I have a P08 Holster with a marking that I cannot identify. It is the only marking on the holster. Please have a look at the image in the referred link. I would appreciate any info on this mark. The holster if a dark brown leather of Reich era.

Re: P08 Holster Marking - need info
Robert,
I was not able to open the photo, but I sure am not a computer wizard like most of the guys on the Forum. I am sure interested in seeing the photo and trying to help with the identification. Can you try to attach the photo again or am I doing something wrong to see it. HELP Marvin |

It is the blue mark that looks like a sword with a handguard!

If that is the sign, it represents Mercury´s winged staff - the sign of a messenger. He would have been in a Signals Unit. Patrick

Patrick;
That sounds very interesting, but can you support it by any documented makers marks?. As you can appreciate, I would like to be sure about this. Thanks for your input and comments. |
