I was reading an old sticky about getting ripped off. All I can say is that I must be lucky but I have only bought from people that I have met on these collector forums or vendor's involved with these forums. And I have mailed out some large checks. Thanks to the people that I have met for being straight up!

Ken, I have only truly been ripped off bad once (got my money back due to other collectors helping me) and he wasn't a member.

I have been irritated at a fellow collector for an odd response after a sale, but I have to say that I have dealt with scores of folks, buying, selling and will take a check from any other forum collector.

I can honestly say that my best friends are forum members.
