My sister gave me this for my birthday - it was brought back by a Vet who served in WW2 - its been a bit of a trying time, so I have not had the time to ask her more about it.

The pictures of the name and location are hard to read via pictures.

This is what it looks like ---

LADOGA. SEE. NEWA.
WOLCHOW. FRONT.
TSCHNDOWO. 1942-43

------------
Google search says

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkhov_Front

Lake Ladoga
Offensive from 1942-1943

Another website states -- The Battle of Wolchow (Volkhov) near Lake Ladoga (Leningrad) in July 1943.

Nice. The Newa or Neva is a river that runs from Lake Ladoga.

Tjoedovo is a town nearby, was a railroad hub.
