Welcome to the forum, yes pictures are very important to value a gun, and even then it is only guesses.

1900's can be anywhere from $400 to $1500 all depending on condition, yours would be worth less than the top value, just because the original magazine is broken.

There is a tutorial under the help section,

Ed

Hello Ed,

I am guessing that Raul's 1900 luger is a 1900 commercial, since he only mentioned a "DWM" marking on top. A serial nubmer of 16220 also can place this gun in the the right range (of # 50-# 19627) for a 1900 Commerical, according to the table on page 11 of Jan Still's book, Imperial Lugers & Their Accessories".

Value always depends on condition and my 23rd. edition of the gun Blue Book shows a price range from $ 3000 for a 98% condition gun down to $ 950 for a 60% condition gun. These prices might be a tad low, as I have not purchased the recent 24th. edition.

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />
