Anybody know about or heard from Hugh

I know he lives in the Beaumont area.

My prayers and thoughts are with the people of Texas

Hugh's dry in his home but the water got up to the house. Today he reported it's receding.

Thank you George for the response !

Glad he is OK! was seeing pictures from Beaumont, not good .

Hope the rain stops and the folks can start rebuilding their lives. Those of us in south Florida know all too well the challenges that lay ahead for everyone effected.

My Brother in Law is in the Woodlands, just North of Houston, he said it was wet and lots of roads out, but house was safe.

Anyone served by the Beaumont water plant is out of water --- the water pumps were damaged by the rising water from the river. So no water for drinking, cooking, bathing etc. There were lines at the stores that sold bottled water.

(My daughter used to live n Beaumont until 4 years ago until Exxon transferred her to Houston. She has many friends there.)
