Correct magazine for a 1900 US test Luger?
Being the happy owner of a 1900 US test Luger, I get the impression that the shiny metal magazine with a wooden end is the correct magazine for this pistol - I do not have one. I have several Luger mags, most of them WW2 with different markings, is anybody up for a swap?

Balder,
The magazine for a 1900 US Test Luger will have a plain metal body with a plain wooden bottom. If you wish to really satisfy your happiness, try to find a plain wood bottom magazine with the small 'flaming bomb' proof mark. Some collectors like to see this little detail for a correct US Test Luger magazine like adding a 'cherry on the top'! I remember seeing three such magazines fetch $350-$450 on eBay in the past two years, but a normal 1900/02 wooden base magazine is acceptable which can be purchased for $200-$250. Please post an image of your US Test Luger and what is its serial number? Cheers, Albert |

Ron Wood keeps a database of the 1900 Test Lugers and your serial number should be included if it is not already there...
Thanks.

Hello Balder,
If you go to the "Member's Gallery" on the 2nd. page, you will see Ron Wood's most recently updated list of reported and known US Test Eagles. Take a look to see if your serial number is already reported. If not, Ron would be interested in adding your gun to the List... Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

I posted a rather bad picture of the Luger on this forum about a year ago I guess. Ron got the serial number and it's on his list. Here's another pic done with my scanner:

I just added a post to my old topic in order to move it up front.
