A Mann 7.65... Not terribly collectible especially in this example's run down condition.
Not sure if it was assembled correctly as it will drop the firing pin upon releasing the slide 1 in 10 times so it won't be seeing ammo anytime soon. But on the bright side for me it was ( very ) inexpensive and while not really collectible it is somewhat unusual. The serial is in the very low 40,xxx range. It's reasonably well made. I know the 6,35 Mann pistol is much more regarded as a colltor item but I like this little guy. I've yet to find an exploded view however I know how to disassemble it; and I did hence the concern about the spontaneous firing pin dropping... It's a little project... Jerry |
