Hate to think about this but I can't help but wonder how many, if any, pristine Navy Lugers went to the bottom along with this Sub.

There would be hardly more than 5 pistols on board. And most likely no Lugers at all.

Not sure of that, U-505 had at least one on board when captured.

One is not a lot.

Maybe from the Kaleu.

Edit: just found out that U 505 didn't have a Kapitanleutnant as commanding officer on it's last patrol but an Oberleunant Zur See.
