They are talking about cleaning and playing these for a while, but still need to be sent to blast furnace. These guns could not be exported.. Viewers saying, "current steel price is so low, what's the purpose of melting them.." etc, etc

pistol- what a curious hodge podge to be found anywhere- let alone buried in southern China.

They are not from the same era, unless they came back from Viet Nam after that war.

Back a few years ago, one guy found many Broomhandles, so I asked some details. For this one... all long guns, I did not ask.

In a way sad to see these old military firearms in this condition, just glad I'm not looking at Lugers or Broomhandles..
Not sure what I just typed here as I had cataract surgery a couple of hours ago and still can't see a darned thing.

There is a BAR, British Bren Gun, an FND, (BAR with pistol grip) and a Czech ZB26 precursor to the Bren Gun. Also present I see either a Cetme or H&K G3, several Garands, an M14, M3 Grease gun, etc.

Interesting cache, as most of the weapons are either allied or post war Axis captures. This looks like a Nationalist weapons cache stored for battle against the communists, who would have been Soviet or locally supplied. Or simply some War Lord's or criminal organization's store. The M14 and the G3s date the burial to sometime in the late 50s, early 60s at the earliest.
