Just ran across this image from 1994. We had the privilege of running 500 rounds through this rare MKb42 (H) prior to its donation to the Springfield Armory Museum.

"Buzz guns" are not for everyone, but I enjoy shooting mine. Yes, I know that I am going through a fair amount of ammo, but as a handloader, I can rationalize it!!

Nice gun! Would love to fire a vintage full auto, especially one so rare. Most of my full auto experience has been on the M-16, Mac-10 and a tripod mounted M1919. Still lots of fun, especially the M1919...

This gun "chugged" on full auto. as the spring travel is long enough so nothing will bottom out.
Quite pleasant and accurate. I love vintage guns, I own or have owned an MP40, 1928 Thompson, Browning 1919 and a BAR |

I would love to own a BAR, but it is just not in the cards these days.

Doug
I know what you mean by "chugging" on full auto weapons. ![]() Back in the day, a buddy got a RPB M10 carbine chambered in 45 ACP. It was a basically a M10 with a fixed metal stock and long heat shrouded barrel. It even had a flash hider cone. It was so much fun to shoot. It just chugged away on full auto. Very accurate and not so hard on the ammo budget. The standard M10 and especially the M11 (380 ACP) zipped thru a magazine in a few seconds! ![]() I have never seen another of those variants, gotta be rare. My buddy swapped it for a Sterling long ago. ![]() Fun days! Bob

I have a Thompson. I had it at a local Historical Society Museum and standing and holding it at the hip
some people in the audience reacted that it looked menacing. They recalled gangster and war movies and it gave them the "willies." Jack |

You want "chugging", I have an old Maxim LMG 08/15 wing gun. You can manually crank on the fusee spring, and get her running pretty slow. But boy, does it ever kick up dirt...
