Hi Guys, just bought my first Luger. 1937 S/42. To **** the gun to shoot it, do you pull back / up on the toggle?
My toggle is very stiff and does not easily pull back even though it is in very nice shape and appears to be lubbed pretty good. I do not want to force anything. I plan to have the gun checked out by a gunsmith soon. Thanks. Bill in Toledo |

Bill, it is an acquired action - in the sense that you have to make sure it is NOT on safe and then it is a quick yank / pull slightly up and back - much different than a Colt 1911 and even different from a 1900 action
