Question Troubleshooting a 1900 DWM AE (.30 Luger)

Luger Doc sent me flat mainspring, which I have installed. Yes, I have now bled on this fine gun.

The toggle, which is now under mianspring pressure, does not go all the way into battery.

Of what would this typically arise?

If you are cycling the action by hand, make sure to release it so it snaps shut: pull all the way back, then let go of it entirely. If you're damping this action by holding onto it, the last little bit of distance it needs to go fully into battery and flatten out/lock the toggle's knee joint may not be achieved, requiring a bump by hand to get it there.

I tore it apart, reassembled it, and voila! It works, my 1900 DWM AE in .30 Luger.

Another common problem with the M1900, is if someone installs a standard PO8 recoil (S shaped) link, vise the shorter M1900 type. The toggle will not fully open. TH
