I have a 1918 DWM Luger all numbers match serial 4405 L but the question i have is it has nothing that I can see as a stamp on it other than the DWM on the top and all matching number and a 1920 coin that looks to be put into one of the grips. Some help would be appreciated pictures to follow

welcome to the forum, I tried to make the pictures show here, so other folks would not have to go off site; which had pop-ups and ads...
we need pictures of the right side, any markings on the barrel, etc. you can post pictures into the same first posting. Ed

On the right 'should' have a acceptance / proof marking, upper right, rear
Underneath should have serial number and then like 8,83 Caliber is 9mm or 7.65mm ? I would expect that this was cleaned up and resold in the civilian or USA market...
