Getting ready to start rust bluing this weekend. I've been doing some research on the areas to leave white.
I should leave white; Frame - Everything inside the top rails including the area where the take down lever resides and the inside of the ears. In the grip area the mag well and the main spring area. One area in question is the area where the sear safety bar rides. You can only see in this area if you look from the bottom of the grip. it is covered by the grips. Receiver- everything inside and the bottom rail. Toggle- breach face pins and axles. the axles are to be flame blued. Am I on the right track? I just want to ask. It would be a pain to have to do it twice. Thanks in advance |
