Hi,
I have two firing pins that are slightly different. One has a long piece that that extends beyond pin body,( this the piece that engages the center link when cocking), on the other one this piece is shorter and ends at the end of the pin body. . Neither one is numbered. Aldo35 |

Also, The FP with the shorter "arm" is mostly likely from a M29 Swiss, and would be marked with a cross (+) on the right side of the arm, or if unmarked, from a 1970s Mauser Parabellum. TH

Tom,
You are correct, there is a small cross on the right arm. This FP was probably in a bunch of parts I purchased in the 60's from a gunstore in Zurich. There are also two grooves or channels on the surface of this FP. In your experience will this work in either a WWII P08 or a prewar P06? Aldo35 |

Hi,
Attached is a picture of these firing pins. The cross appears as a tiny spec on the lower FP arm. You can also make out the groove on this side of pin there is a identical groove on the other side. . ![]() Aldo35 |

Aldo, Your M29 Swiss FP should work well in most luger models, except the ones prior to 1906. TH
