Most likely a police reissued magazine, which was re numbered to a Weimar era Police rig. The number "2" indicates the spare magazine, similar to the Army practice of a "+" to indicate the spare magazine.

The suffix on the bottom is an "L" which would put it toward the end of 1940. It should have 122 stamped on the side of the body.
