Default Veterans Bring Back Vol III

Well, I am happy to say that any day (any week if customs is slow) will be releasing Volume II at Simpson's LTD (my publisher).

In Vol II it covers the following stories in 206 pages, with many hi rez pictures and I must say I am very pleased with how it turned out

It turned out so well because so many members of this board and a few other boards shared verifiable Vet Bring Back guns and equipment.

Specifically stories on;

Germany 42 (and occupied countries)

Japan 30 stories, but not counting filler pages provided by myself and Mr Rhodes which is probably 6 or 7 pages of period pictures

USA 5 stories

Vietnam, this was the big surprise to me and pleased me greatly, 22 stories, mainly by two collectors, but several others

"other" which was things like a Nagant, Dutch 1922 etc

So, I have 15 stories so far for vol III; if you have any items from your family, please send me an email at ed_tinker@hotmail.com and we can talk, I need some verification (to keep as real as possible), high resolution pictures of the item {3 or 4 max} of guns, equipment; and a picture of your friend or relative in uniform if possible.

Thank you my friends for helping share these stories!

Ed

Hey all, I have started putting together Vol III and I am up to 35 pages with another 5 stories promised. sounds slow, but it will roll along.

If you have any personal stories, WW1, WW2, Korean war, Vietnam, Gulf War and to tell the truth, from any country, any 'side' of the conflict or even something that is interesting but has provenance, then send it my way!

These couple of books have only come together because of fellow collectors and I give full credit to the 'author' and whomever the person in the story (I do have a few anonymous ones if needed).

email is ed_tinker@hotmail.com

hello all,

I am on page 95 of Vol III ~~~ and about 3 more stories promised

I have gathered a large amount (so far) of Japanese WW2 stories, and you know what I would love, more stories about German weapons!

Of course, the one area that is lacking is stories of Korea, surely we have some Korean war veterans here??

Send info and stories to me at ed_tinker@hotmail.com
