Default Randy Bessler

Greetings,
Does anyone know if there is a problem with Randy or his family? He has not updated his site since middle January and he does not answer his telephone.

I second that, great to deal with. Hope he's fine.

Wonder if he's at S.O.S. Louisville.....

I've dealt with Randy a few times (he does seem like a nice guy) and was under the impression that he had a close relative working for him also. I seem to recall that this person was the one who photographed the items and maintained the website for Randy. I also hope that all is well.

His nephew Shaun is working with him. I e-mailed both, but I haven't received an answer back. I've bought several guns from Randy, and am satisfied dealing with him!

Hi:

Randy is a top guy and you can always rely on the descriptions he gives to be absolutely accurate!!!

His wife is also a pleasure to deal with and talk to.

Hope all is well with them!!

I have bought a few items from him.
A nice guy to spealk with and very accomodating.

However his condition descriptions are significantly
inflated.
I been in the game over 50 years.

Nice guy bought a Radom from him some years back. Spent about an hour on the phone with him regarding the purchase. Very good to work with.

Apologies for dredging up this old post however I was curious what became of Mr. Bessler. Unlike many here I had but one transaction with him on a Mauser C96 years ago which ended in my returning the piece as it just wasn't as described by quite a margin. I eventually chalked it up to an overly optimistic evaluation on his part and an overly hopeful interpretation of the condition on my part. I read of some later legal travails around 2016 and then the trail goes cold. I'd seen his website has been long gone as I seem to recall he stopped his business (Collector Firearms) quite some time back.

Any further news?

Jerry

I saw Randy at the Big Reno Gun show in November. He has been showing up to the last few and seems to be working with another seller as he hangs out at his table. I would expect he will be at the next one in January.
