Default Word Germany on Magazines

I have search for some information regarding the word Germany on the bottom of magazines, at it seems that all threads refer to the Alphabet commercials and that probably they were replacement magazines. Fine.
Now my question is, are these magazines of that period only or they can be recently produced, Are recently magazines imported can have the word Germany stamped on them? If so how can one identify them from the original?
Thanks for any information.
Alf.
